11 million 3rd world children

Dear LBO List;

I have accidentally lost some past messages, and now would like to cite 
the 11 million Third World children (dying of poor health care, 
nutrition) figure, or similar. Does anyone still have the source and/or 
the discussion about the figure's accuracy? Maybe you could forward it 
to me? I would appreciate it so much.
