For what it's worth, the Spanish daily El Mundo, not exactly suspicious of rampant pro-yank feeling, reported before the bombings that Sudan's opposition 'doesn't rule out' the possibility that its government is involved in terrorist activities. Al Mahdi, leader of the National Democratic Alliance, says that the Sudanese government has very intimate relations with the terrorist whose group claimed responsibility for the African embassy bombings, Ben Laden, including construction business and frequent contacts with high Sudanese officials. He also said that the Sudanese government is directly involved in terrorist activities.
