Of course not! I don't even say it cannot undergo a major drop, nor that there can't be a depression, ecological catastrophe, and all kinds of other awful stuff.

What I do say is that I know of no persuasive arguments as to why these things MUST happen, or why they are likely to happen.

In the business of politics, incidently, it is better to avoid constant intimations of disaster, since as time passes with no realization of such predictions, one's credibility and audience wash away. Better to acknowledge that something awful might happen, to talk about causes and cures of uncertain events, and to focus on what is worth doing in the meantime, whether or not judgement day ever comes. You can't keep crying wolf if you are serious about building a following, even if you know the wolf is out there somewhere.

As for the market, if I had money to play with I'd buy tomorrow, first thing, though I can't say I wouldn't jump out soon after.
