You're partly wrong, Jimbo. U.S. Leftists don't talk like this way to workers because the conversations would never last longer than about 30 seconds. They tell this stuff to would-be radical college students or middle-class liberal audiences.
And please don't forget it was only a lesser part (numerically) of SDS that talked this way.
