Stock buybacks fueling bubble, not households?

Interesting article. Apparently, the bubble has been fueled by corporate
buybacks, rather than 401(k). Households have actually been bailing out
of the bubble all year long. This seems to be in direct contradiction
with my personal experience.
Is this a fair assesment of the situation? How reliable are Federal FLow
of Funds figures?
