Tibet and the attraction of Buddhism

I first learned of the Dalai Lama when watching the movie Caddy Shack when I was young. And it was a good first impression. Remember? Bill Murray's character caddied for him while in Tibet and when the Dalai Lama shanked one into a gorge, miles deep, he didn't freak out, just serenely uttered "gugala goo" or something like that. And the tip he gave Murray was not money, but full consciousness on his death bed, no less. Good PR.
