I think this could be of interest to members of this list: in the May 98
issue of Sozialismus - just out - Margit Schratzenstaller reviews lbo-talk
list-owner's book "Wall Street". (I suppose it is the first review of this
book published in another language than English.)

At the end of last year M. Schratzenstaller and Ingo Schmid interviewed
Mike Yates as well as Gregory Albo and Sam Gindin. These interviews have
been published - together with articles by Ellen M. Wood and Fernand
Gapsin/M. Yates - as a supplement to the February 98 issue of Sozialisums
under the title "Unity starts at home. On the situation of the Labor
Movement in the USA." [Die Einheit beginnt zu Hause. Ueber den Zustand der
Arbeiterbewegung in den USA] -

Another point: The Paris international meeting on the Communist Manifesto
will start in a week. The English version of the conference's website is on
http://www.internatif.org/EspMarx/Marx_98/eng_vers.html . Quite a lot of
contributions are already available online.
