The upper middle-class markets the overclass, and the lower middle-class markets the underclass, eh? It does explain why econs and B-major profs get paid 20-40% more than the soc folks. But the highest paid profs at the U of O happen to be -- at, ye pits of iniquity! -- the lawyers, presumably because they get their cut from the marketing of the rules of marketing.
