Actually Doug and I have discussed this problem in the context of the decline in posting to PEN-L. I think it is going to take a couple of weeks for these sorts of questions to be resolved. The last thing that Doug or I are interested in is weakening PEN-L. Also, it is going to take a little while for the Marxism list and the LBO list to clarify their identities better. I do think that the amount of crossposting has died down over the past day or two and I expect that pattern to continue. Maybe we should get into the habit of not cc'ing the various lists once a post is made initially. Obviously when I take the trouble to rake poor David Harvey over the coals on ecofascism, I want the world to know. In the past, I used to crosspost to marxism-international, my old stomping grounds into it mutated into the Shining Path-Richard Pipes list (don't ask me about this, its too complicated) and Pen-L. Now I post to the 2 Panix lists and PEN-L. Once one of my hand grenades land, it probably would make sense to only respond to it on one list, even though you are subbed to all 3, or 2 of 3.
