This is silly. Ehrlich is a right-wing green. So are the leaders of George Bush's favorite group, the Environmental Defense Fund. And the Audobon Society. And Al Gore. The green movement is a multiclass movement, just like the woman's movement or the black movement. Political fights are going on all the time between the left-wing and the right-wing.

The whole purpose of ecosocialism is to win hegemony for left wing politics in the green movement. Our difficulty, however, is that large sections of the Marxist movement cast aspersions on all manifestations of environmentalism, from Earth First! to the EDF.
