I'm wondering if anyone can help me find materials describing the activities of the Committee for Constitutional Government, an anti-New Deal organization set up in the late 30s by Frank Gannett, publisher of the newspaper chain. I'm wondering in particular what became of the group, when it ceased its right-wing agitations, etc.
