And in Salon, David Horowitz says the Chilean people overthrew Allende. And Pinochet was much better for Chile than Castro was for Cuba. I bet most American think that too, if they've ever thought about, which is highly unlikely, but they'll still have a strong opinion.
As we prepare for our Thanksgiving dinners, the Right is doing a pre-emptive strike, so any left-ward proposal is garbled before it's been spoken. And they don't have to make any sense which makes their job a lot easier. Bank manager to bus boy, High school diploma to MBA, people either think Clintons a liberal or a leftist, that National Healthcare is socialism, and that socialism means everybody got to wear the same clothes.
