Doug, do you know the main thrust of this disagreement?

Also, has anyway read or heard any comment on the EU announcement that it was moving towards a unified socialist policy?

Only Uncle Ken Hamlin, every white conservative's cure for racism, seems to be talking about the transition to socialism. Of course, he's talking about Clinton.

When you guys talk about these origins of the EU, it's all new to me, and interesting. But I can't help but think that some new catalyst appeared in the last decade to have finally focused on economic union, especially to the point of a joint currency. I seem to remember when that would have seemed pretty unlikely. Not so?

I just read that Sweden was experienceing deflation in consumer prices, and that they had lowered rates a quarter point or whatever ya callit. Down to 3.25 I believe. Maybe I read it here?

ps. Hi Tom, and Les. I shall be heading for Sears first thing in the morning, in seach of my electric leaf grinder. The back yard is a thick blanket, as I've only dealt with the tiny front yard. Please, process that helps a mustard seedling find the light, help me find something to shred all these leaves with.
