Here is the book that I mentioned during the Henwood vs. Brenner episode. I couldn't recall the author's name or the title of the book: even though I could see him in my mind as clear as holding my hand out in front of my face...Dale A. Hathaway.
I've never talked to Dale, except to exchange pleasantries; I do think he was on to some of the power dynamics and politics of de-industrialization during the time period he covers.
