================== I agree that the focus should also be on tax breaks. The book "America: What Went Wrong" by Barlett and Steele is very interesting on this point and these two Phili Inquirer journalists should be contacted for one hell of a story. I heard them speak and was able to talk with them later, wherein I discovered that these guys really were "tax code technicians" and found something like 750 special "dispensations" buried in the code. Often these clauses are meant for one particular person or family or company(remember C. Clifford/DuPonts, etc!!!***??##*). Actually, I'll bet someone like Dan Rostentowski (Ex-Ways&Means Committee) probably even beat Clark Clifford on the total special give-aways.....
