Now here are the facts about a nasty little labor dispute in Ohio thats been dragging on for a few years now. It involves about 70 people at a small speciality metals plant near Marrietta, Ohio. Even though federal law and federal court rulings are on the side of the steelworkers; for some reason this dispute is being ignored by the powers to be in Washington. The company president of MSI a Mr. Murphy, is just thumbing his nose at the federal government and getting away with it. The local congressman and the federal courts seem powerless to do anything about this Mr. Murphy's actions.
There are no obvious economic reasons why President Murphy of MSI should not settle with the steelworkers.
Sincerely, Tom
