good news? (late follow up)

Listening to the spin put on the news about Pinochet's arrest in London,
it seems as if the British government is preparing public opinion for a
climbdown on extradition. No clear statement to that effect, but a
deafening silence from Labour's front bench is being interpreted as a
lack of will to see the thing through.
