Well like DUH, Brenner, the rest of the world pretty much shot it's ass off, the US was top dog till they put it back on straight. The arrogance of the Big Cigars over their success and business acumen during this period has always seemed a sick joke to me. The opportunity that was squandered was criminal.

lYou know, I was just going to comment on the role that racism had in keeping the rubes distracted, and it struck me that the civil rights movement couldn't have come at a better time for The Big Cigars. Keep the whites all stirred up. (It could happen!)

Anyway, I don't know who this Brenner is, I thought he was one of the dead guys, but he sounds stupid enough to be real famous and influentia;l.

Thanks Bill, good nut-shell. By jove I think I've got it.

Playin' in the dirt again... Paula
