Max is wrong. Fascism is the augmentation of the terror of the bourgeois state to defend and RETAIN, not negate , the status quo. Fascism is a defense of capitalism in its imperialis phase against the rising working class movement, as in the original usage in Italy's Fascist Party. The class character of fascism is an essential aspect of its definiton.

Bourgeois ideological blurring of the definition of fascism is Demogogy 101.

This is an excellent, concise expression of the translation of "marxism" into an apology for tyranny. A message of pure negativity seeks a marriage with overwhelming force for the sake of imposing . . . what? If you ask, you're the enemy.

Fascism 101, folks.
