I have never been a part of a strike before. Praise the Lord for watching over our family during this time. I have read all the letters from both the Union and the company (oh, and watched the tape…ha,ha). I am impressed with how the union handles all that the company has "thrown" their way. I pray that the company can overcome their "childish" ways, so to speak, and offer a contract that is worth taking. A contract that is worth all the fuss…one that is worth the penny pinching among families of employees…one worth the sleepless nights of those who don’t know if they will wake up with enough money to provide for their family…enough money to pay for insurance…I don’t believe that a good group of employees can ever ask for too much! If you make good, no excellent, money for your employer…then you deserve the same in return! No the world may not be fair but fighting for what is yours, for what you deserve, that’s fair! Thank you United Steel Workers for standing up for what is right !
