"Matrix" movie

Odd script but worth seeing.  Consumers living fantasy
lives in their pods.  Works as a metaphor about
capitalism.   The script is odd because the straight
play on capitalism/reality contortions etc. has been
watered down with Hollywood schmarm, like reviving the
main character from death with a declaration of love
from the obligatory babe interest.   So that one has to
contend with elements of a really great movie
sandwiched between schmarm.  Whether that makes it a
great movie or not I don't know, but it held interest.
