Jordan, that just isn't true. I've taken some heat, in fact, from connoisseurs of catastrophe for being too sanguine in my analysis. Last year, I got an email from a guy who'd just read Wall Street asking if I thought I'd go down in history like some minor Irving "Stocks Have Reached A Permanently High Plateau" Fisher - as the Marxist who claimed that things weren't on the verge of collapse even as they were.
