Hello everyone, this is urgent,

I'm writing regarding the recent actions of the Missouri Prison authorities against Jerome White-Bey, founder of the Missouri Prison Labor Union. In the last half year he has been transferred 3 times now, and at that from segregation cell, aka 'the hole', to segregation cell. Recently he had his own documents of the MPLU seized as I was sending copies back to him, since the MPLU code advocated a hunger strike and not talking to guards or doing sports after any killing by a guard or State execution. Papers were seized, Union declared 'non recognized', 'illegal' even though it was actually formed in a completely by the books legal State recognized form. In addition to theft of papers and punishment for even having and writing them ('Rule #9 'Organized Disobedience' more time in hole) Jerome White Bey was threatened with death by Assistant Superintendent Terry Page. As Jerome lightly told me, "we must be doing something right". He also said he is in "100% good health, doesn't smoke, drink, or eat meat", his death, if it occurred would be no 'accident'.

Please if anyone could write or call protest word, as well as write to Jerome or other MPLU contacts, this would much help. Jerome is also very interested in any work on anarchism.
