To include myself in the ideological scrambling, many who attacked Israel noted its atrocities and discounted its suffering at the hands of the Arabs, while those like myself who defended Israel (to some extent) justified those atrocities partly by provocations by the Palestinians. (My only defense of consistency is in defending sovereignty for both Palestinians and Kosovars.)

The Luftwaffe, openly praised on April 11 by CNN for its important role in the NATO war in Yugoslavia, is again bombing and killing Serbs and Jews (there is a Jewish community of over 3,000 in Belgrade and more in the rest of Yugoslavia). This is a fact that seems to escape most commentators' analyses. What's more surprising is that such fact is completely ignored also by many Jewish commentators and politicians, all intent in swallowing the cynical, unjustifiably "Holocaust-related" propaganda, fed by NATO in favour of this dirty war. It is not easy to counter the daily propaganda bombardment from the all powerful media. The media are as usual very subservient to the interests of underlying Arab oil-producers and military-related industries who give them their paychecks, and are intent to exploit to their own advantage many well meaning individuals of high moral standards. The NATO attack on Yugoslavia, which involves also killing defenceless civilians travelling by passenger train or families celebrating their Easter at home, is being presented as kosher by the almost unanimous, and rather shameful, chorus of Western and Arab media. Radio, television, newspapers, local bulletins: all are filled with images of the certainly suffering Albanian refugees from Kosovo. However, after going through the period of the Arab "intifada", we may use some acquired antibodies against the virus of "gullibility influenza", at times a really deadly virus and not only for the truth. During the intifada the Western and Arab media had no doubts either, about who the good guys really were: that is the "poor, downtrodden palestinians", as opposed to the bad guys, "the powerful Israeli Defence Forces". The parallel between the Arab-Jewish conflict over the Land of Israel, with the incredibly uneven and pro-Arab media coverage in Europe and the US that accompanies it, and the coverage of the conflict between the Serbs and their Muslim (Albanian and Bosnian) or Catholic neighbors (Croatia), can certainly be drawn at least through the hostile partisanship of the media towards Israel and the Serbs. In order for such partisanship to be successful, at least two elements are needed: ignorance or manipulation of historical facts and totally one-sided presentation of events. The same way most Western media prefer to ignore the fact that the "poor palestinians" use all possible variations of terrorism (from bombs in markets and buses, to daily stoning of cars driven by Jews) to advance their cause of expelling the historical owners of a land they came to as invaders, occupiers or illegal immigrants; the same way most Western media show palestinian suffering while ignoring Jewish rights and suffering as if they did not exist; likewise most Western media treat and have treated the issues concerning the Serbs and their conflicts with their neighbors. The media, with the help of Arab controlled UN refugees organizations, ignore the 850,000 Jewish refugees who were expelled or fled from Arab countries in the last fifty years: the only refugees, the refugees "par excellence" are Arabs, palestinians or Muslims. Likewise, the media, the UN and NATO prefer to ignore the more than 1 million Serbs killed and the more than 1 million expelled, "ethnically cleansed" and forced to flee from their homes in Krajina, Kosovo, Metohia, Montenegro and Bosnia from the start of WW-II [when they fought against the nazis side by side with the Jews] to the last conflicts of the '90s: the only refugees spoken of by the media are Albanian Kosovars. In the meantime, Jewish drivers are daily stoned and fired at, and Serbian and Jewish children and adults are bombed by NATO in trains, hospitals, homes, bridges, factories, and other "military infrastructure related" (sìc) targets as bakeries: they supply the soldiers with bread. Let's not accept the shameful comparison between victims of the nazis (both Jews and Serbs) and the nazis themselves. The nazis did not put Jews into trains to Israel: the cattle trains filled with our brothers were going to the gas chambers and crematoria. The Serbs, HELPED BY NATO BOMBS, have been sending Albanians to Albania by passenger trains, while Albanian terrorist militias (PLO-like), armed by Germans and Arabs, have been waging a terror campaign that killed more than one thousand Serb civilians and police.
