Dear Doug,

Speaking as a registered Democrat and one who has done his little bit over the years, I am yet to encounter anyone who thinks this Yugoslavian Affair is a good idea. About the strongest thing I've heard said on Clinton and Gores behalf is a couple of people have told me,"well, I guess we have to...I dunno". Of course this is probably why Gore has been in Ohio twice in the last week.
