And that's no small matter. But...expulsions of same-sexers from the armed forces are higher now than they were before Clinton's ridiculous don't ask/don't tell nonsense. Clinton signed the hideous Defense of Marriage Act and bought time on Christian radio stations to brag about it; he also signed the welfare bill, with its hideous preamble touting the virtues of patriarchy. And, while it's still legal (though under constant attack), what's happened to abortion availability during the Clinton years? Is it harder or easier for a poor woman to get an abortion now than 10 years ago? I don't know the answer to that, but I suspect it isn't good.
