--On Thursday, April 29, three contributors to the Verso book _Not Your Father's Union Movement_ will speak about the revitalized movement at Labyrinth Books, 536 W. 112th St, 7pm, FREE.
--Also on April 29 are the Project Censored Awards, with emcee Lewis Lapham and keynote speaker Barbara Ehrenreich. Fordham Law School, 140 W. 62nd St., Rm. 430, 6pm, $10.
--On Friday, April 30, Project Censored is also having a little shindig/reading at Revolution Books, 9 W. 19th St., 7pm, $2.50.
On May Day there are three protests/rallies:
--May Day rally at Union Square from 2-6
--March for Workers' Rights and Human Dignity, to protest at KMart and the Gap in the East Village; meet at KMart, 8th and Lafayette, at noon. This march will then head over to First Avenue to meet...
--March for Fair Wages, sponsored by the Lower East Side Community Labor Coalition to support workers at the city's greengrocers in their unionization attempts; meets at Charas, 605 E. 9th St., at noon.
