This is one of the better practical political action stories that I've seen in a long time. The only part of it that doesn't ring true is the price of media buys in rural areas. A candidate could get a lot of exposure with rural and small town newspaper advertising and rural and small town radio advertising without spending big bucks. Just remember that the "Spotlight" probably sets the rural political agenda in this country---more so than any other political publication---on a national level of discourse.
