Which labor group? Labor is not so united it seems if one scratches the surface. Hoffa and Becker and Sweeney are not all on the same page, it appears. And there are differences beteeen local and national labor, too.

And the kids seem to be saying things like tariffs suck and hurt the environment and poor of developing countries, while the steelworkers and Clinton say protectionism is good, esp for one's highly paid workers who vote. The developing countries say Clinton's call for inclusion is more a trojan horse against their local needs. Is it possible Billy has again managed to jump in front of genuine demands to sidetrack them? The core demands like child labor are easy for the US to lead, but the real advantages for the US corps rest in keeping the gap wide down in the fields and communities of the poorer nations trying to use the WTO for their needs.
