Ha. I just got a review copy of Postrel's Enemies of the Future (among them is Baffler editor Tom Frank, a nostalgic statist). She's positioning herself as one of the conservative hot babes - in her publicity photo, she's wearing a leather jacket, mixing toughness with a blonde smile; the press packet includes a copy of the Vanity Fair article on the young generation of right-wing lovelies.
