The Palestinians have long been protesting that "normal" crowd control
gases have unacknowledged long-term and/or toxic side effects for some
people. As I understand it, this is part of what was behind the Suha
Arafat/Hillary Clinton flap, where Suha referred to the Israeli use of
"poison gases." She meant the normal gases were poison, i.e., harmful.
(Plus that the Palestinians were being poisoned environmentally, but
that's a different story.)
