circulated in aftermath and I've seen references but no discussion

Dick Flacks and Jack Whalen wrote book, _Beyond the Barricades_,
about ten years ago that uses incident to discuss what became of
'60s generation' of activists and non-activists attending UC Santa 
Barbara in 1970 when bank burned.  If memory serves, protest had
begun in response to Chicago 7 (down from 8 after Bobby Seale's 
severance from trial) guilty verdict.   Michael Hoover
