Wasn't it the case that Hitler was whether he realized it or not a good Keynesian? His policies of public works and of military rearmament combined with his smashing of the trade unions helped to pull Germany out of the Great Depression within a relatively short period of time. And didn't Lord Keynes at one point in th e'30s express some admiration for Hitler's economic policies?
