Didn't that happen with the Berrigan brothers in the anti-war movement? Last time I checked, abortion is free on demand in only one country: Cuba. As they say in Cuba, sex is the only thing you don't have to line up for. Abortion is illegal in many Latin American countries like Colombia. So there was never much of a tension between the liberation theologians( some of whom may have been pro-choice, I can't remember) and the left. In Colombia, it is in some circumstances *legal* to kill your wife if she commits adultery. Adulterous wives often join the guerrillas...
