i just wonder how useful GRE etc. scores are in determining one's ability and participation in the classroom- i don't do as well on standardized tests as i've done in school and i don't think that's because of grade inflation, i often got to know my professors and talked with them outside of class and everything i mean, i just took the GRE and the LSAT a few months ago

isn't there something also about how these tests are discriminatory and biased in alot of ways its true that people who can afford to take preparation courses tend to do better on these tests-but the courses sponsored by Kaplan and Princeton Review cost at least $1000, other places, $600 not to mention that it costs around $100 to even take the test and have your scores sent places
