Well, why nationalize white collar banks? The poor already have their own banking system: loan sharks, the money store, pawn brokers, 'purchase-goods- on-time-or-rent-the-furniture' plans, and relatives. The definition of the banking industry is very fluid, and it's about time we realized that the competition of a two tiered banking system which red lines poor neighborhoods and allows less recognized forms of banking to compete is a truly AmeRicaN event. The marginal banking industry gets to make money from marginal customers upscale banks don't want to touch.
