For the record, I wasn't asking for theoretical unity. I was asking for a *show* of unity. Part of this involves not yielding to reactionary critics of various "isms," regardless of what your personal opinions about those "isms" are. Carl thinks I'm flogging a dead horse, but I feel like pitting Marxists against various practicioners of continental theory plays into the hands of the Right.
