Pardon me for butting in on this thread, but doesn't the experience of Malcom X show the exact opposite? While he was in the NOI, Malcom was as reactionary as Farakhan - his later evolution in a more progressive direction resulted in his being ejected from the organization (and later assasinated, depending on how much you think the FBI was involved.) If someone quits the Nazi party and becomes a leftist, does that prove the Nazi party is a leftist organization?
