Butler and Mourning

I wonder if Butler ever thought of her own theory (and post-modernism in
general) as a form of mourning + melancholia that she discusses with regard
to gender, that is to say, mourning the "death of Marx." (Sort of like Mike
Leigh's film _High Hopes_ or Nanni Moretti's _Palombella Rossa_.)
