I was personally involved with this campaign last summer and got to meet
and talk with some of the workers in question.  We then rallied at Crown
headquarters and Crown gas stations all over the city of Baltimore, as
well as Henry Rosenberg's neighborhood.  Hopefully I'll be at the Feb. 11
rally as well.  Distribute this to anyone who may be interested.

To Commemorate the 3rd. Anniversary of the Crown Central Petroleum 
Lockout in Pasadena, Texas

When: Thursday, February 11th. at 4:30 pm

IT HAS BEEN 3 LONG YEARS 

On February 5, 1996, Crown Central Petroleum locked out 250 members of
the Oil, Chemical & Atomic Workers Union at its Pasadena oil refinery.
The National AFL-CIO has launched a national BOYCOTT of CROWN.

Crown wants to break the union. Crown wants its workers to agree to the 
permanent replacement of nearly half its workers and elimination of 
seniority.

Crown also has been charged with discrimination in a Texaco-style
lawsuit.  Crown has been charged in another lawsuit with polluting the
environment and damaging the health of the nearby residents.

Three years is a long, long time to be locked out of your job.
Religious, Labor, Community, Student, Environmental, and Civil Rights
organizations have been calling for Henry Rosenberg and the Blaustein
family to end the lockout. We are asking Crown Central to admit and
settle the civil rights and environmental violations.

Here on the three year anniversary of this cruel lockout, we ask for
peace and justice for these workers.

Please don t buy CROWN CENTRAL PETROLEUM products.
