Is that Don Barden the former Lorain city councilman who made it big in Detroit city in the cable TV business. Or am I thinking of another guy. We are not exactly on a "Hey, Homes" basis, but, our paths have crossed on a couple of three occasions. He may have visited our Lynn R. Williams Learning Center and if he hasn't he is always welcome.

Charles: It's got to be the same Don Barden, because the would-be empressario owned the city cable tv business. He also owns a riverboat casino in Gary , Ind. Don Barden is a Coleman Young protégé. (damn my computer just put accent egues in the word "protege" )
Coleman Young organized a bid for a casino before he died. I'll look in Coleman autobio to see if he has anything worth repeating on gambling.
I met some people from Lorain at a plantclosing conference here once.
