Maybe some of you saw the salon piece about mj's difficulties in finding an 
editor. As an early (and ambivalent) candidate myself, I just got a courtesy letter indicating that the former editor of Audobon magazine, Roger Cohn, has been picked as the new editor-in-chief. 

Now, no jokes about mother jones going to the birds...
