Hitchens wrote a good critical piece on Horowitz and the second thoughts
group. Its in his _For the Sake of Argument. I believe Horowitz's "think"
tank is the recipient of  largesse from the Olin foundation or one of those
big right wing money trees. Horowitz was a much better Marxist than a
conservative.
