Remember that WSJ article on Mexico that Doug posted a couple of days ago? I just got a free sample of the January/February issue of the _Columbia Journalism Review_, and there's a long article by the same guy, Joel Millman, titled "Going Nativist: How the Press Paints a False Picture of the Effects of Immigration." He's listed below as a correspondent in the WSJ's Mexico City bureau and author of _The Other Americans: How Immigrants Renew Our Country, Our Economy, and Our Values_.
So while this guy might stand out as an exception at the Journal, that article seems to be quite in line with what he normally writes. He's seriously sympathetic to poor Mexicans and pissed at people that aren't.
