Y'all forgettin' one thing. Under Tito the primary ethnic group in the national police forces was the serbs. A lot of nice jobs which they lost with the independence movements. Moreover 'twas the iron fist in the velvet glove. Y'all think all that serbian national police force was so *popular*. Such a great socialist country blew apart 'cause everyone felt so strongly it should stay together. Bourgeois analysts were right to write, in journals like Foreign Affairs, as they did in the 60s and 70s, after Tito, what? National question still not solved, folks.
