Given the number of socialists on this list and the amount of material available on the various flavors of socialism on this planet, I find your comment disingenuous. I'm sure you may have met, or at least heard of someone, at some point, on this planet, who thinks that "socialism" might be something different than the command economies found in the Eastern Bloc.

Further, I am sure that somewhere on earth there is someone whom you might have met or heard of who might believe that working class action would lead to something other than the "really existing socialism" you've been swinging around like a cudgel on this thread.

And if you think that everyone who advocates socialism thinks that the Eastern Bloc model is the only desirable or possible model, allow me to enlighten you right now: It is not true.

Now, do you have any real reasons why the choice must be between fascism "evolving" towards parliamentary democracy or Easten Bloc style command economies and party-run states, or will it just be another week of evasion, strawman building and other rhetorical shell games?
