Yes, I think you are correct. I can only apologize for even thinking it possible.
I've been very sick with a bad cold, been downing antihistamines and valerian root for several days. I think it has an effect on my mind. Not sleeping well has an effect. Even the quality of food has an effect, not only on the mind but on emotions too. Eating vegetables and lean chicken for instance gives me a boost, while fast food hamburgers are depressing. Some of us may be more sensitive than others, and I thing that as we age these things may become more apparent. That 60s slogan "You are what you eat" or ingest (yucky cold medicines here) is pretty damn real in my life.
