What they called Cluster Bombs in Vietnam created what medical
personnel named "football wounds" from the resemblance of the
stitches to football lacings. The bomb would send so many peices
of shrapnel into the body that the whole body would have to be
opened in a long incision to repair the wound, creating the
characteristic
appearance after stitching.
Do these Cluster Bombs resemble those in Vietnam?
