Gysi is not just clever; he is extremely clever. So I appreciate Nathan
copying this to the list.
This letter is an interesting document squaring his individual conscience,
many constituencies and audiences, and presenting a viable negotiating
position, which in other political scenarios would make him a possible
replacement as foreign minister of Joschka Fischer.
It would take a long time to analyse it.
