Awww, go back to Poland :-)

But seriously, why the bile spewed at average Americans? Perhaps they are all as stupid as a spud, but it's not so unreal to expect people on tee-vee to report all the available information, or at least to not lie to you. Perhaps it's naive and lazy to expect that, but it doesn't mean everyone who does is an idiot. Why isn't it tee-vee's fault, for not presenting the whole picture? Why not attack the power instead of the drones?

Perhaps my calculator is broken, but it's telling me that if just over half of the people support the war then just under half *don't* support it. That mitigates Americans' dunderheadedness a bit, and means there is a relatively strong base from which to try to end this imperialist insanity. Despite the massive pro-bombing propaganda--lies, deceit, half-truths, vital information kept hidden, etc.--half of the people think we should stop the bombing and try to negotiate this thing. That shows an amazing capacity for independent thinking, methinks.
